Delivery Policy

This Delivery Policy applies to orders placed through the Memorial Candles website and paid for using our secure Stripe checkout.

1. Where we deliver

We offer free standard delivery to delivery addresses within the United Kingdom. If a UK address cannot be serviced by our chosen carrier, we will contact you before dispatch to offer a reasonable alternative or a full refund.

International delivery is not offered unless it is specifically made available at checkout or agreed with us in writing before purchase.

2. Delivery charge

Standard UK delivery is free for MC001–MC007. There is no separate standard delivery charge added at checkout for eligible UK orders.

3. Dispatch and delivery time

We aim to process and dispatch orders as soon as reasonably practicable after payment is confirmed. Any delivery estimate shown on the website, in Stripe Checkout or in your order confirmation is an estimate unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date with you.

Unless a different delivery period is agreed, we will deliver your order within 30 days of the contract being made. If we become aware of a material delay, we will contact you using the details supplied with your order.

4. Delivery information

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Please check your delivery details carefully before completing payment. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible at info@memorialcandles.co.uk.

5. Missed, refused or undeliverable deliveries

If a parcel is returned to us because the address supplied was incorrect, incomplete, refused or repeatedly unavailable for delivery, we will contact you. We may ask you to pay the reasonable cost of re-delivery where the failed delivery was caused by information or instructions supplied by you. This does not affect your statutory rights.

6. Damaged parcels

Please inspect the parcel and product as soon as reasonably possible after delivery. If an item appears damaged in transit, contact us promptly. Photographs of the parcel and product can help us resolve the issue quickly, but providing photographs is not a condition of your statutory rights.

7. Risk and ownership

Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you identify to receive the goods, takes physical possession of the order. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
